I'm still trying to find a temporary job to gain a few extra bucks before moving. But the pickins' are real slim. (Dear God, please don't make me live in Louisiana AND work at a gator farm.) Anyway i'll find something.

Meanwhile I have found a roomate in OR which is a huge relief!

Now I just need to apply for the FASFA and get registered for school. Hopefully I can do most of that online or mail in forms. My excitement is only slightly dampened by the cold I seem to have coming on. Ugh, I hate having a stuffy nose!

I'm kinda doing a deer in headlights thing here. There is so much I need to do yet that when I thought about it all I locked up. So after I do this i'm going to go for a quick jog and try to sort it out. Other than roughly a billion errands to run, I need to look for a temp job for a few weeks to get a little extra cash before I leave. I had an unexpected expense a few weeks ago when I managed to do a million to 1 drop to the lap top that just happened to land directly on the cord to the plug and push the pin into the motherboard. 400$ For that. Ugh.

In other news...I am just dying to have THIS. It could quite possibly be the coolest cheesy thing ever. With this , the backpack that's a mobile stereo and 2 backup dancers, I could be a walking Vegas act. Maybe I could find the dancers on ebay? With this I could conceivably beat the turbaned roller skate guy in Venice. He hasn't used the snake OR the back-strapped base drum in ages. Don't laugh, he has his own mural ya know.

There is hours of entertainment to be had when you type "bling bling" into a search engine.

Ok i'm really going for a jog now.

So Here It Is

I've decided to make this journal public. Might be a good idea to start talking to people who live in the place I plan to move to. =) So here goes and hopefully I'll make some friends out of it. It would be nice to have people to hang out with when I get there. I suppose anyone could just look at my user info but I'll give a quick run down on this entry anyway, so peeps looking for friends with stuff in common please feel free to add me!

My Stats Are:

Age: 32 (holy crap how did that happen?)

Sex: Female

Hair: Black

Eyes: Green

Ethnicity: Italian

Height: 5'9"

Tattoo's: 1, Fairy on the inside of my left leg, it is tinkerbell it is NOT the disney version. I got it at 19 as my little nod to not growing up. See I knew even then....

Weight: 138 and on the decline cause I'll be damned if I grow old gracefully.

Status: Never been married and never had children, still hope to do that some day.

Personality:
I'm really laid back and I try to be completely non judgy, i'm weird and I hate when people judge me for it. I also try to be genuine and as kind to people as I possibly can and I think people who are jerks for the sake of being jerks are just, well..jerky. I'm also a non-believer and I don't try to convince people to not believe so I appreciate the same courtesy from those that do. I'm pretty live and let live all around.

Likes:
First and foremost, i'm a total geek. I haven't actually put on costumes (outside of halloween) nor do I speak any make believe languages but that doesn't mean I never will! I think i'm pretty cute but I find the nerd thing tends to cancel that out. =P I love all things martial arty, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Buffy! Way back when in High School I was part of the whole heads/punks/goth contingent and still lean that way now although I keep things to a minimum in the freaky dress department these days. I'm a walking encyclopedia of horror movie trivia. Evil Dead 2 being my favorite film of all time. I'm also a huge Goonies fan which is what got me interested in Oregon in the first place. And, in the typical nerd list of loved things, a major Tolkien fan. I would like to go back to dancing/clubbing. I like techno, industrial, punk, 80's (of course I'm from them!) and some classic rock. I love to read, all sorts of things from horror to ancient history. I was an anthropology major in college. I am also an amatuer carpenter, have my own power tools and table saw and everything! I do collect toys, my most prized possession is my Mcfarlane Toys Evil Dead 2 Bruce Campbell Action man! Have a ton of other memorabilia as well and I do play video games, xbox and PS2.

Oh the more I write the more I realize i'm the weirdest girl. Well if anyone likes weird girls or are weird girls themselves, please add me so I dont feel so alone, LOL! I look forward to meeting you..whoever you may be.
